I love how the process and concepts were represented visually with graphics and worksheets. There were multiple examples of each part of the process including the definition and real-world examples of the steps.

This course has helped me excel and become talented in a few different areas in the world of Lean 6 Sigma. Most specifically SMART goal statements. I like the concept, I wish there were real life examples and short problems to implement out learning.

I wasn’t sure if I’d find value from a framework that started in a factory in my variable digital job, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn some new principles that will be super helpful in the teams I lead and the conversations I have with leadership. Basic entry to Change Managment

The course helped emphasize the importance of effective solution design. I found this course to be particularly helpful in structuring the thought process around how to create a solution that meets customers needs. In some cases, it can be easy to rush through the solution phase, and I think that the focus on factors that should be considered prior to selecting and implementing an appropriate solution were beneficial.

I was able to learn a lot of new skills to eliminate waste. I appreciate learning the history behind the whole problem solving ideas people of created. As I completed the final module and reflected, I realized that this course reminded me of tools and approaches to problems that add empathy and creativity to my process improvement background and approaches. This therefore will increase my toolbox when working with different people and initiatives at my organization. Having both an online e-learning ability and then an in person learning/application, truly allows for an all-encompassing learning experience.

Informative and easy to navigate

I enjoyed my time reading and watching the videos as I prepare for my next steps.

It exposed some weaknesses in our system that prior to this course I would not have thought of changing. Specific examples that I feel need focused on is computer organization, sorting unneeded items, and labeling drawers for easy access.

I have enjoyed learning about Lean Six Sigma and how to obtain my Yellow Belt. Excited to continue on.

The course material was interesting, informative, and easy to follow. My only feedback is that the formatting of the website frequently displayed with text overlaying images and videos.

Mr. Thomas West is one of the top professionals in Six Sigma/Lean worldwide. He led me through some Black Belt projects and he was my mentor during my preparation for MBB. He has a wide knowledge and experience in several areas of Six Sigma (PESTEL, SWOT, Strategic Deployment Goals, Business Systems and Process Management, Lean, DMAIC, ….). He is one of the best Six Sigma/Lean consultants/trainers who can guide and support professionals for all the levels of Six Sigma.

The process of yellow belt training has changed the way that I approach issues. It has helped me reframe my processes from a “do it now, get it done” process to utilizing the processes laid out in this course. It has also helped me better communicate with my staff and our customers.

A great, easy-to-understand explanation of Six Sigma White Belt.

I would have liked to have all the info graphics and powerpoint slides in one download instead of having multiple downloads with someones only one slide. Also, the yellow belt handbook was not available at the end.

It was a satisfying process to walk through the Design Thinking training! The use of examples really helped concepts stick. I also really appreciated that there were so many downloadable tools included.

Great educational experience

The intensive Design Thinking sprint was fantastic! Tom was great at walking us through the steps and educating the Dana-Farber team about design thinking. It was also meaningful to work together towards the common goal of better educating and distributing Dana-Farber resources to patients.

I enjoy the variation in the delivery method throughout the training.

The Green Dot training was very informative in regards to how we tackle systems in our organization. We had a lot of interaction with our instructor that made the projects seem achievable, and we were able to complete some much needed improvements in our organization.
