3 Core Components of Dialy Improvement

A core focus of Daily Improvement (DI) is to create a culture of continuous improvement, or a culture of “Kaizen” as Toyota would state it. “Kaizen” is translated as “change for the good” and is a critical part of what makes DI successful. At its core DI is about making problems visual and collaborating to solve those problems – with the support of leaders.

Cascade goals and important information/ communication to help align efforts and make it easy to see when a problem exists.

Apply intentional and disciplined improvement efforts to solve problems through shared accountability and a focus on learning.

Through Daily Improvement leaders adopt a mindset of asking and showing instead of telling, as part of developing others.
