This one left me thinking, “I can actually do this.” The Standard Work course found that rare sweet spot between satisfying the improvement nerd and understanding the human side of leadership. Easy to Navigate once in but hard to get open in the beginning

The Yellow belt process is one that when applied is value additive to any company, but even beyond that, everyday life. To be able to simplify and add value is an amazing thing to strive for.

This training provided a clear, actionable framework that goes beyond theory. I now have the tools to standardize our instruction, improve our processes, and build stronger relationships within my team. It’s exactly what we needed to drive better results.

The course helped emphasize the importance of effective solution design. I found this course to be particularly helpful in structuring the thought process around how to create a solution that meets customers needs. In some cases, it can be easy to rush through the solution phase, and I think that the focus on factors that should be considered prior to selecting and implementing an appropriate solution were beneficial.

Throughout my yellow belt training I found that many of the tools were familiar due to using them in past project, yet a full understand of each tool or the big picture was never developed. I really enjoyed the Meeting Management Fundamentals. I got a lot out of it.

I really liked the course and how each training section would roll right into the next. In my opinion, this made it easier to digest. I also really enjoyed the fact that there is downloadable content to be used as a resource when needed in the future.

Tom and I have crossed paths in our professional careers many times over the years, but this last year marks a first for us. I brought in him to help a client address Category Six of the Baldrige Framework related to process improvement. He partnered with my client, taught Lean and graduated over ten teams as a Yellow Belt cohort group with tangible and measurable results. The White Belt Certification was very helpful to begin thinking about how to become an agent for change and process improvement within a company or organization.

I appreciate the layout of the material. It is easy to follow and the graphics help. More often than not the actual website would not fully load information or all the graphics. It made it a little difficult. The teachers were very thorough and always there for support.

Just starting training and I am already planing out ways to utilize the beginning processes I have learned so far! Much more to come!

Organizational change is challenging, but when you are able to get team members to agree on a common set of principles to drive change, while thinking systemically about how change impacts the org as a whole, the process gets easier. Grateful our team is taking on this collective learning. We are already seeing the payoff.

I’ve learned a lot from the Green Dot Group. Applying what I’ve learned in their course will make me a more valuable team member.

I appreciated the clear structure of this course and the progress bar on the left. It made it easy to plan to complete the course in the flow of my day and make sure I had adequate time to really absorb the material.

The intensive Design Thinking sprint was fantastic! Tom was great at walking us through the steps and educating the Dana-Farber team about design thinking. It was also meaningful to work together towards the common goal of better educating and distributing Dana-Farber resources to patients.

Mr. Thomas West is one of the top professionals in Six Sigma/Lean worldwide. He led me through some Black Belt projects and he was my mentor during my preparation for MBB. He has a wide knowledge and experience in several areas of Six Sigma (PESTEL, SWOT, Strategic Deployment Goals, Business Systems and Process Management, Lean, DMAIC, ….). He is one of the best Six Sigma/Lean consultants/trainers who can guide and support professionals for all the levels of Six Sigma.
